The Game Reacts to Celeste Rivas’ Death, Calls for Justice
The Game recently expressed his outrage regarding the death of Celeste Rivas, a 15-year-old girl found deceased in a vehicle belonging to singer D4vd in September 2023. During an appearance on The Cruz Show, he shared his emotional response to the ongoing investigation and the disturbing details surrounding her case.
Rivas was discovered in a Tesla on September 8, 2023, leading to widespread media coverage and speculation about the circumstances of her death. The investigation has been marred by misinformation, including false reports of her body being decapitated. In his comments, The Game recalled the impact of these reports, drawing parallels to his own family. “My daughter is 15. The girl was 15. The decapitation,” he stated. “Let me be the voice for all real fathers who love their daughters. If I was the father of that girl you decapitated, I’m decapitating who did it before I leave the earth.” His remarks reflect a strong emotional response that resonates with many who are grappling with the tragedy.
Despite earlier claims about the condition of Rivas’ body, Los Angeles Police Captain Scot Williams clarified that these reports are inaccurate. He told People magazine, “Celeste’s body was not frozen. She was not decapitated. The whole frozen thing doesn’t even make sense. Her body was in the car for weeks.” Williams further explained that even if Rivas had been frozen prior to being placed in the vehicle, the extreme heat during the summer would have negated any possibility of a frozen body being discovered later.
As the investigation continues, police have not yet made any arrests. However, they have identified D4vd as a potential suspect. At the time of Rivas’ discovery, he was on tour and has not faced any charges related to her death. In addition, the L.A. County Medical Examiner has placed a security hold on the case, indicating that further details may be withheld as the investigation unfolds.
The tragedy of Celeste Rivas has elicited a strong public reaction, highlighting deep societal concerns regarding violence against young women. The Game’s passionate call for justice underscores the urgency felt by many in the community. As details continue to emerge, the hope remains that Rivas’ case will find resolution and that her family will receive the justice they seek.
