BREAKING: Palmer Luckey, founder of defense startup Anduril, has just revealed a controversial strategy named “China 27,” preparing for a potential conflict over Taiwan as early as 2027. Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Luckey emphasized the need for urgent preparedness amid rising tensions in the region.

Luckey stated, “The idea is that anything we are working on needs to be built with the assumption that sometime in 2027, China is going to move on Taiwan.” He acknowledged that while he might be wrong, he would rather be prepared than face the consequences of a “gigantic fight.”

This revelation comes as experts warn of increasing military activity in the Taiwan Strait, with China viewing Taiwan as a breakaway province. Luckey noted that a full-scale invasion is unlikely; instead, he anticipates a blockade that could cripple the island’s economy. “The best way to deter that is for Taiwan to have capabilities that make a blockade virtually impossible,” he added.

In a show of commitment, Luckey recently traveled to Taiwan to deliver advanced missile systems designed to counter any possible invasion. He asserted that the United States should avoid direct military conflict but act as “the world’s gun store,” ensuring allies are well-equipped and supported.

Anduril has been making waves in the defense industry by pioneering innovative technologies that challenge traditional contractors. On October 13, US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll announced plans to disrupt long-standing procurement processes, highlighting a shift toward more startup-friendly initiatives.

The startup’s latest offering, the EagleEye, was unveiled during the same event, showcasing advanced displays that integrate real-time battlefield data for soldiers. This product is part of Anduril’s growing portfolio, which includes a $642 million contract with the US Marine Corps for anti-drone systems.

With a valuation of $30.5 billion as of June, Anduril is positioned to transform military technology. Luckey’s insights underscore the urgency of addressing potential threats and preparing for the future of warfare. As tensions escalate, the implications of his “China 27” strategy will be closely monitored by defense analysts and global leaders alike.

Stay tuned for updates as this situation develops, and share your thoughts on how nations should respond to the looming threat over Taiwan.
