UPDATE: Hunter Biden has launched a scathing attack on CNN anchor Jake Tapper, labeling his journalism as “poor” and suggesting that Tapper’s recent books may have been generated using ChatGPT. This fiery exchange occurred during an interview with Mediaite reporter Tommy Christopher earlier this week.

Biden did not hold back, asserting, “I don’t live my life to impress Jake Tapper, but I just think it’s really, really poor journalism.” He criticized Tapper’s co-authored book, Original Sin, which discusses former President Joe Biden’s mental decline, claiming it reflects a lack of credibility.

During the interview, Biden described Tapper as “irrelevant,” stating that he ranks “about 35 or 40” in the cable news landscape. “The audience for such programs is dying off,” he added, suggesting a disconnect between Tapper and viewers. Biden remarked, “I don’t know many people that like Jake, okay? I really don’t,” alluding to his long tenure in Washington, D.C.

In a pointed jab at Tapper’s newly released book, Race Against Terror, Biden advised, “I think Jake’s got to cool it on the ChatGPT and maybe give it at least a four-month period of time before he gives us another book.” This comment drew an audible reaction from Christopher, who exclaimed, “Wow.”

Biden further criticized CNN for allowing Tapper to promote Original Sin prior to its release, referring to it as “an infomercial for his book.” This latest tirade underscores ongoing tensions between Biden and mainstream media figures, showcasing the heightened scrutiny surrounding his family’s public image.

As the fallout from this confrontation unfolds, Biden’s remarks could have significant implications for media narratives and public perceptions of both him and Tapper.
