MLB Predictions Graded: Shocking Results for All 30 Teams
URGENT UPDATE: The 2025 MLB season predictions have just been graded, revealing striking outcomes for all 30 teams. From standout performances to disappointing results, fans are eager to see how these bold forecasts shaped the season.
New reports confirm that several predictions hit the mark, while others fell flat. The season preview, which aimed to identify realistic yet bold forecasts for each team, has drawn considerable attention as analysts evaluate how well these teams delivered on expectations.
Pittsburgh Pirates’ Paul Skenes was a standout, winning the Cy Young Award and delivering an unprecedented season for a Pirates starter. With a staggering 7.7 WAR and a 1.97 ERA, Skenes earned an A+ grade. Analysts now speculate he could surpass these numbers in the 2026 season with more pitching opportunities.
In the Seattle Mariners camp, Bryan Woo also excelled, finishing with a 15-7 record and a 2.94 ERA, earning another A+ grade. His performance, which included a historic streak of six-inning outings, leaves fans hopeful for a stronger rotation in 2026.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Guardians celebrated Gavin Williams leading the rotation with a 3.06 ERA and 3.8 WAR, another A+ achievement. With a solid curveball that limited opponents to a mere .116 batting average, Williams is expected to build on this success next year.
However, not all predictions were as successful. The New York Yankees were projected to finish with an 80-82 record, marking their first losing season since 1992. Instead, they soared to 94 wins and a playoff berth, leaving analysts scrambling to understand the team’s turnaround. This surprising outcome has drawn considerable attention as fans analyze how the Yankees can maintain this momentum in 2026.
The Los Angeles Angels faced their own challenges. Predicting six players would hit 20 home runs while still losing 95 games, they instead recorded only four players reaching that milestone and finished with a 90-loss season. Analysts are now watching closely to see how they can improve their offensive approach in the upcoming year.
In a particularly disappointing turn, the Washington Nationals failed to deliver on the prediction that middle infielders CJ Abrams and Luis Garcia Jr. would both reach 25 home runs. Instead, Abrams hit 19 and Garcia 16, leaving the Nationals reevaluating their strategy heading into 2026.
As teams prepare for the offseason, the focus will shift to potential trades and player development. The Baltimore Orioles are expected to address their roster needs after Samuel Basallo struggled in his debut, hitting only .165 in the majors.
The 2026 MLB season is already poised for excitement, with analysts keeping a close watch on these teams as they strategize for success. With the offseason underway, fans will be eager for updates on trades, signings, and the next wave of predictions.
Stay tuned for the latest developments as teams gear up for another thrilling season of Major League Baseball.
