Care+ Pediatrics Expands Access with Third Location in Oklahoma City
Praesidian Capital has announced the opening of a new Care+ Pediatrics clinic, marking its third location in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The latest pediatric urgent care facility is situated at 8500 S. Western Avenue in South Oklahoma City and aims to enhance access to pediatric care for families in the region.
This new clinic responds to demographic growth trends and the increasing pressure on local hospital emergency departments. By providing pediatric care outside traditional office hours, Care+ Pediatrics seeks to address the community’s needs effectively. Jason Drattell, Founder of Praesidian Capital, emphasized the importance of this expansion: “This expansion extends Care+’s reach into an underserved corridor while reinforcing the scalability of the model.”
Commitment to Quality Pediatric Care
Kevin Burke, Managing Director at Praesidian Capital, highlighted the firm’s commitment to supporting sustainable growth while maintaining quality. “Care+ Pediatrics has consistently demonstrated the ability to deliver short wait times, a strong patient experience, and operational consistency,” he noted. The opening of this third location reflects Praesidian’s confidence in Care+ Pediatrics’ ability to grow in Oklahoma and neighboring states.
Leading the Care+ Pediatrics clinics is Dr. Justin Pespisa, a pediatrician trained at Vanderbilt University. The clinics are equipped with onsite digital X-ray facilities, interpreted by board-certified radiologists, and offer treatment for a range of common pediatric illnesses and injuries, including lacerations, minor fractures, respiratory conditions, and sports physicals. Notably, Care+ Pediatrics accepts all major insurance carriers, further enhancing access for families.
Innovative Approach to Care
Dr. Pespisa articulated the clinic’s mission, stating, “Our goal has always been to make high-quality pediatric urgent care easier for families to access.” The clinic’s online reservation system allows families to secure appointments before arriving, significantly reducing wait times and improving the overall experience for busy parents.
