Creekbed Carter Hogan is set to perform at Radio East on December 4, 2025, sharing the stage with Arthur Moss. This event promises to deliver a vibrant mix of queer country sounds and joyful celebration from the artist, who hails from St. Paul, MN, and has connections to Austin, TX.

Hogan’s music is characterized by a distinctive blend of folk and country elements, underscored by an instinctive ear for melody and an emphasis on collaborative artistry. The upcoming performance will highlight tracks from Hogan’s latest LP, which features contributions from notable artists in the Austin music scene.

Among those collaborating with Hogan on this album are Zack Wiggs from Pelvis Wrestley on pedal steel, Beth Chrisman on fiddle, and vocalists Nora Predey and Gabriela Torres from Large Brush Collection. The album also includes artistic input from Lindsey Verrill and Jeff Johnston from Little Mazarn, who add layers of depth to the sound.

The event at Radio East will also feature the talented banjo player McKain Lakey, alongside the Austin-based queergrass band Brand New Key, who will perform the single “Apiary.” This collaboration exemplifies Hogan’s commitment to bringing together diverse voices and styles within the queer music community.

Doors open at 19:00, presenting an opportunity for attendees to experience an engaging evening filled with music and community spirit. This performance not only signifies Hogan’s return to the Austin music scene but also reinforces the importance of supporting local arts organizations.

KUTX, which is dedicated to promoting music and artists, encourages donations to help continue its mission of bringing audiences closer to the music they love.
