Jesse Eisenberg recently sparked laughter during his appearance on *The Tonight Show* while promoting his latest film, *Now You See Me, Now You Don’t*. The actor humorously speculated whether his co-star, Woody Harrelson, might have been involved in the real-life Louvre Museum heist that has captured headlines.

While discussing the film, which is the third installment in the magician-heist series, Eisenberg highlighted the coincidental timing between the movie’s release and the recent theft of diamonds from the Louvre. The actor joked that some online conspiracy theories suggested the heist could have been a promotional stunt for the film. “It was,” he quipped, leaning into the humor of the situation.

Eisenberg recounted a particularly amusing moment from a press junket, where Harrelson began detailing the tools necessary for a heist, leaving Eisenberg and the rest of the cast perplexed. “We were all sitting there like, ‘What’s an acute grating saw? What are you even talking about? How do you know this stuff?’” he recalled. When asked if Harrelson’s knowledge stemmed from the *Now You See Me* movies, Eisenberg playfully replied, “No, he knows it from maybe doing that.”

Returning to a Beloved Role

Eisenberg expressed his excitement about reprising his role after several years. He acknowledged that while he often portrays “miserable people,” the *Now You See Me* films are a delightful exception. “These movies are the only fun thing in my life,” he shared. “I get to play the most confident magician on the planet. I stand up straight, wear a suit, and I just feel like a special boy.”

During the show, Eisenberg also showcased a card trick, humorously referring to it as “bad magic.” He recounted attempting the same trick on a ten-year-old at his child’s school. Despite his self-deprecating remarks about his skills, he managed to impress host Jimmy Fallon and the studio audience.

“I’m maybe the world’s worst magician, but I can act like I’m a good magician,” he joked, encapsulating the light-hearted spirit of the evening.

As *Now You See Me, Now You Don’t* prepares for its upcoming release, Eisenberg’s playful banter and enthusiasm highlight the film’s engaging nature, promising audiences another captivating chapter in the magician-heist saga.
