Joe Giudice Reveals Life Inside Fort Dix Prison for Diddy

Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey after being convicted on charges related to prostitution. Former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Joe Giudice, who spent 41 months at the same facility, shared insights into what life is like for Combs behind bars. Giudice emphasized that Combs’ experience will depend largely on his behavior during his time in prison.

Giudice stated, “As long as he keeps a low profile and doesn’t try to act like a big shot, he’ll be fine.” His comments reflect a common understanding among inmates about the importance of maintaining a low profile in a challenging environment. Giudice, now 53, recounted his own experiences, noting the potential dangers of prison life, including violence over trivial disputes. “I’ve seen people get stabbed over an onion. You ain’t in there with the most stable people,” he warned.

Life at FCI Fort Dix, according to Giudice, includes some surprising perks. He mentioned that inmates can pay for services such as tailored clothing and food prepared by chefs. “You can get your clothes tailored and chefs making food for you. That’s just how it is,” he explained. Despite these advantages, Giudice painted a grim picture of the overall conditions.

Another former inmate corroborated Giudice’s claims, describing the living conditions as “horrible.” This individual, who spent 17 months at Fort Dix, explained that there is often only one bathroom per floor, with inadequate facilities. “A lot of the food is expired. It’s horrible. They don’t care,” he recalled. He went on to describe his first impressions of the facility, stating, “This isn’t a jail, this is an insane asylum!”

As Combs adjusts to life in prison, his recent legal struggles are still fresh in the public’s mind. In July 2023, he was acquitted on two counts of sex trafficking but was found guilty on two counts of transportation for prostitution. Following his conviction, he was sentenced and transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, to Fort Dix, where he is expected to remain until his release in June 2028.
