Australian musicians Sarah McLeod and Dallas Frasca are set to embark on a unique venture with the announcement of their Green Electric Tour 2026. This initiative aims to merge their passion for music with a commitment to sustainability, focusing on environmentally friendly touring practices. The tour will take place across various venues in Australia from February 19 to March 14, 2026.
The Green Electric Tour represents an innovative approach to live music, as both artists have partnered with Green Music Australia to implement sustainable practices throughout their tour. A small levy will be added to ticket prices, which will fund measurable actions for sustainable touring. This initiative exemplifies McLeod and Frasca’s dedication to reducing their environmental impact while entertaining audiences.
The tour has garnered support from several reputable organizations, including Music Australia, The Harbour Agency, and Spank Betty Records. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Seed Mob, Australia’s first Indigenous youth-led climate justice organization, which is actively engaged in the fight for climate justice.
The Green Electric Tour will cover 15 dates across the nation, showcasing both artists’ commitment to sustainable practices. They plan to employ emissions reduction strategies to offset their impact during the live touring operations. The tour schedule includes venues such as the Bended Elbow in Albury and Mojo’s Bar in Fremantle, culminating at the Stag & Hunter in Newcastle.
