Elia, a Mediterranean restaurant renowned for its Greek dishes, is set to open its fourth location in downtown Campbell, California, at 276 E. Campbell Avenue. This new establishment will occupy the space formerly held by Opa!, which closed in the fall of 2025 due to bankruptcy. The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations and is targeting a grand opening between late January and early February 2026, as reported by Mercury News.

The new Elia location will feature the restaurant’s signature Mediterranean menu, which includes a variety of shareable mezethes, seafood specialties, and a comprehensive brunch service on weekends. Co-owner Fatih Ulas and executive chef Mehmet Duygu first launched Elia in Pleasanton in 2021. Since then, the brand has expanded to Walnut Creek and opened a third location in San Carlos in late 2024, which boasts three private dining rooms, a wine cellar, and nightly live music.

Focus on Brunch and Flexible Dining Options

The Campbell restaurant aims to emphasize brunch and full breakfast offerings on Saturdays and Sundays, while also maintaining dinner service throughout the week. The renovations are designed to accommodate both indoor and outdoor seating, private dining options, and flexible arrangements for groups. Located in downtown Campbell, the restaurant is expected to attract strong foot traffic, making it an accessible dining option for both locals and visitors.

Elia’s menu highlights a range of Mediterranean flavors, incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients inspired by the Aegean coast. Guests can look forward to indulgent mezethes such as saganaki and marinated olives, alongside hearty entrées like lamb chops, octopus, sea bass, and seafood paella.

The expansion into Campbell is a key step in Elia’s mission to provide a consistent Mediterranean dining experience across its locations. The brand aims to cater to a diverse clientele with casual brunches, weekday lunches, and elevated dinners. With this new venue, Elia continues to solidify its reputation for offering approachable, high-quality Greek cuisine in the Bay Area.

As the restaurant prepares for its opening, anticipation is building for what Elia promises to deliver to the Campbell community. With its commitment to exceptional food and a welcoming atmosphere, the new location is poised to become a popular destination for Mediterranean dining in the area.
