Luna Grill Set to Launch New Location in Chula Vista
Luna Grill, a California-based Mediterranean grill chain, is preparing to open a new location in Chula Vista, California. The restaurant will occupy the former Jamba Juice space at Chula Vista Center, located at 555 Broadway, Suite 135. The anticipated opening is scheduled for the third or fourth quarter of 2026, according to company representatives.
Expansion Plans and Menu Offerings
This new establishment is part of a broader expansion strategy for Luna Grill, which is also developing additional locations in cities including Corona, San Clemente, Riverside, Pico Rivera, and Rancho Mission Viejo. The Chula Vista restaurant will offer the brand’s signature menu, showcasing Mediterranean-inspired dishes such as kabobs, salads, bowls, and freshly made sides.
Founded in 2004 by Sean and Maria Pourteymour, Luna Grill focuses on providing families with healthier meal options made from fresh ingredients and responsibly sourced proteins. The chain has grown to over 50 restaurants across California and Texas, continually expanding in both metropolitan and suburban areas.
The upcoming Chula Vista location will span 1,449 square feet within a bustling shopping center at the intersection of Broadway and H Street. This strategically chosen site is expected to attract both local residents and visitors to the mall, enhancing the accessibility of healthy dining options in the area.

Luna Grill is dedicated to using non-GMO ingredients and responsibly raised meats, with all dishes prepared fresh to order over an open flame.
