Macomb County Libraries Offer Diverse Events for All Ages
Various libraries across Macomb County are set to host an array of engaging events for residents during the week of November 8 and beyond. From storytimes for toddlers to educational presentations for adults, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Upcoming Events at Local Libraries
At the **Center Line Public Library**, a baby and toddler play group meets every Tuesday at 11 a.m. This program welcomes children up to 36 months along with their caregivers for stories, songs, and play. Additionally, storytime sessions are held at 11 a.m. on Wednesdays and 5 p.m. on Thursdays, featuring stories and crafts suitable for children up to age five, with no prior registration needed. The **Clinton-Macomb Public Library** (CMPL) will host a special event on November 10 at 6:30 p.m. Author **Tobin T. At the **Harrison Township Public Library**, a Kids STEM Project is scheduled for 6 p.m. on November 11, where children aged 5-12 will create their own DIY fiber optic lamps. Registration is required for this hands-on activity. An Adult Craft Night will follow on November 13 at 6 p.m., focusing on transforming recycled wine bottles into winter-themed luminaries. Residents can also participate in the “Flip the Switch: HTPL Kindness Contest,” which runs through November 19. Residents can also check out the **Warren Public Libraries**, which recently announced that all branches will offer telescopes for borrowing as part of the NASA @ My Library initiative. This program aims to enhance STEAM opportunities for patrons. The Warren Civic Center Library will host telescope events throughout the year, further promoting community engagement in scientific exploration.
