UPDATE: The boyfriend of a Utah woman missing since a beach bonfire in California is urgently calling for public assistance. Danielle Staley, aged 35, vanished on November 6, 2025, around 11:30 p.m. at Rio Del Mar State Beach near Aptos. Authorities have raised concerns that foul play may be involved in her disappearance.

In a heartfelt plea, Alx Nunez, Staley’s boyfriend, stated, “I’m not stopping until I find her… If anybody has any information, please come forward.” His emotional appeal highlights the urgency of the situation, as Staley has not been in contact with her family, raising alarms among friends and investigators alike.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Staley was last seen with an “unknown group” at the beach, and personal belongings were discovered on the shore, increasing fears for her safety. A sheriff’s spokesperson indicated that Staley may be “at risk” due to her sudden disappearance.

Nunez revealed he was not present at the bonfire, having fallen asleep in their camper van, which authorities are currently searching for evidence. “There are cameras in the area, and there has to be some video surveillance,” he stated, urging local residents and businesses to assist in the investigation by providing any relevant footage.

Officials are actively requesting help from anyone who may have witnessed anything unusual in the area, particularly those living or working near Beach Drive, Rio Del Mar Boulevard, and The Esplanade. The urgency of the situation cannot be overstated, as Staley’s well-being remains a significant concern.

Staley is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt and leopard-print leggings. Authorities continue to appeal for any information that could lead to her whereabouts.

As this story develops, the community is urged to stay vigilant and report any tips to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. The search for Danielle Staley is ongoing, and every piece of information could make a critical difference in this urgent case.
