UPDATE: Jon Stewart has delivered a biting commentary just after the House and Senate approved the release of the long-awaited Epstein files. The comedian expressed skepticism about the integrity of the documents, which are now headed to the desk of President Donald Trump, who is expected to sign them into law.

During a recent episode of his Weekly Show podcast, Stewart remarked on the “shock” vote, stating, “The world’s still celebrating… when they want to get something done, they can do it immediately.” He criticized what he called the “absolute bulls–t” of previous delays, emphasizing the urgency of uncovering the truth behind the Epstein scandal.

Stewart’s tone turned sarcastic as he added, “I’m sure [Trump] will sign it,” before questioning the authenticity of the information that would be released. “We will have access to all information, non-redacted, unclassified,” Stewart claimed, before quickly noting, “I, of course, am lying and being sarcastic.”

The urgency surrounding the release has intensified after Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, suggested that the files might be compromised. He told NewsNation on Tuesday, “The reason they’re going to be releasing the files… is that they’re sabotaging these files.” Mark indicated that the documents could be manipulated to protect powerful figures, including Trump, who he believes may have been involved in Epstein’s activities.

As the political landscape shifts, Stewart also did not hold back on criticizing Trump’s recent warm welcome for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Following a military flyover and lavish state dinner, Stewart expressed outrage over the CEOs who attended, calling it “shocking” given the prince’s ties to the brutal murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

“Honestly, are people surprised by it?” Stewart ranted. “I cannot believe… the head of Apple, the head of Meta… would sit at a state dinner with the guy who is funneling billions and billions of dollars into their businesses.” His comments highlight a growing discontent with corporate complicity in political matters.

Stewart’s tirade escalated as he addressed right-wing critics, calling them out for their hypocrisy regarding associations with controversial figures. “For any of those right-wing guys that want to go out there and criticize… Look in the mirror,” he concluded, underscoring the emotional weight of his message.

As the situation develops, all eyes will be on the White House to see how the release of the Epstein files unfolds and what implications it may have for Trump and others involved. The public remains eager for transparency in a case that has captivated the nation for years.
