Joseph F. DeLong, 58, Passes Away at Home Surrounded by Family
BREAKING: Joseph F. DeLong, aged 58, has tragically passed away at his home in Allentown on December 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife, Joan DeLong, and step-son, Tyler Sandt. His death marks a profound loss for family and friends, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of passion.
Born on May 17, 1967, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph Yagerhofer and Irene (Schoenenberger) DeLong. He dedicated over 27 years of his life working at Mack Trucks, contributing significantly to the community and his profession. Colleagues and loved ones will remember him not just for his work ethic, but also for his vibrant personality.
In his personal life, Joseph was known for his love of repairing and refurbishing old arcade games and pinball machines, a hobby that showcased his creativity and technical skills. He was also a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, often sharing his enthusiasm for the game with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Joan, Joseph is survived by his step-son, Tyler, and his sister, Lora Collette. He was preceded in death by his brother, David DeLong.
