URGENT UPDATE: A 51-year-old woman from Millville has been arrested for threatening a U-Haul employee with an expandable baton in Bridgeton, New Jersey. The incident unfolded on Monday, October 23, 2023, at approximately 4:20 PM, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.

Bridgeton Police received reports of the woman, later identified as Nantonya Mangini, brandishing the weapon at the U-Haul Moving and Storage located at 825 N. Pearl Street. When officers arrived, they discovered Mangini still holding the baton while threatening the worker.

Despite police commands to drop the weapon, Mangini attempted to walk away multiple times, still clutching the baton. After a tense standoff, she eventually relinquished the weapon and was taken into custody without further incident.

Mangini now faces multiple charges, including obstruction, terroristic threats, and weapons charges. Additionally, she is charged with failing to comply with police orders regarding fingerprinting. Currently, she is being held at the Cumberland County Jail as she awaits her court appearance.
