National Anthem Stars Electrify Game 7 of World Series NOW!
UPDATE: The atmosphere was electric at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on November 1, 2025, as Pia Toscano and Noah Reid delivered powerful renditions of their national anthems before the highly anticipated Game 7 of the World Series.
With millions watching, Toscano, known from “American Idol,” passionately sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” for the Los Angeles Dodgers, while Reid, a dual U.S.-Canadian citizen, honored his home country with “O Canada”. Their performances set the stage for what promises to be a thrilling showdown between the Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Both artists expressed their excitement on social media. Toscano posted, “So honored to be singing the US anthem,” while Reid shared his pride, stating, “Beyond honored to get to sing O Canada tonight at the World Series Game 7.” His post reflected his deep connection to the Blue Jays: “LET’S GO BLUE JAYS!!!!” The energy was palpable as players and managers stood with their caps over their hearts during the performances.
The stakes are incredibly high for both teams. The Blue Jays aim to capture their first World Series title since 1993, while the Dodgers seek to become the first team to win back-to-back championships since the New York Yankees did so in 1999 and 2000.
Earlier, the Blue Jays nearly clinched victory in Game 6 but fell short during a dramatic ninth-inning comeback attempt. The Dodgers managed to turn a game-ending double play, securing their spot in this decisive Game 7. Fans are on the edge of their seats as Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers prepare to face off against the determined Blue Jays.
The excitement surrounding this matchup is palpable, with fans flooding social media platforms to share their anticipation. As the clock ticks down to the first pitch, all eyes are on Toronto for a night that could rewrite baseball history.
Stay tuned for more updates as Game 7 unfolds, and witness which team will emerge victorious in this thrilling World Series showdown!
