Peter Greene, 60, Found Dead Days After Posting Happy Photo
URGENT UPDATE: Actor Peter Greene, known for his roles in “Pulp Fiction” and “The Mask,” has tragically been found dead at the age of 60 in his New York City home. This shocking discovery comes just days after Greene posted a vibrant photo on October 25, where he appeared happy and healthy, smiling alongside musicians.
Authorities report that Greene was discovered on Friday after a concerned neighbor requested a wellness check due to an incessant stream of Christmas music emanating from his residence. When a locksmith opened the door, Greene was found unresponsive on the floor. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the New York Daily News, the actor’s body was reportedly found facedown and surrounded by blood. Investigators have stated there is no indication of foul play at this time; however, an autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.
Greene’s manager, Gregg Edwards, revealed he had a normal conversation with the actor just two days prior, on Wednesday. Edwards shared that Greene was feeling anxious about an upcoming surgery to remove a benign tumor near his lung, scheduled for the same day he was found dead. “He was a little nervous about the operation going in, but he said it wasn’t super serious,” Edwards told the New York Post. “He sounded okay. It was just a totally normal conversation.”
The news of Greene’s death has left his family and friends in shock. He is survived by his 16-year-old son, Ryder Greene, who now faces the difficult journey ahead without his father.
As this developing story unfolds, fans and friends of Greene are mourning the loss of a talented actor known for his impactful performances. His sudden passing raises questions about the circumstances leading up to his death, and many are waiting for further updates from authorities and medical examiners.
