Tragic Crash on I-88 Claims Two Lives in North Aurora

URGENT UPDATE: A devastating traffic crash on Interstate 88 in North Aurora has resulted in the deaths of two individuals, identified as Diego Nava Torres, 32, and Samantha Ortiz, 33, both from Chicago. The incident occurred just after 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023, prompting a swift response from Illinois State Police.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud crash as authorities rushed to the scene near Mitchell Road. Tragically, both Torres and Ortiz were pronounced dead at the scene, leaving family and friends in shock.
