Two Arrested in Urgent Murder-for-Hire Shooting in Beach Park

Authorities have confirmed that Ruval-Cavatorres was allegedly hired to execute the shooting. Although the individual who commissioned the attack has been detained, he has not yet faced charges. The investigation revealed that security footage captured a suspicious vehicle cruising slowly through the neighborhood the day before the shooting. Police traced the vehicle’s license plate back to Ruval-Cavatorres.

Further investigation led detectives to locate the alleged mastermind behind the attack in the 1600 block of Park Avenue in North Chicago on Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff John Idleburg stated, “Our detectives swiftly uncovered a significant amount of evidence that led them to the offender, as well as to identifying and arresting the individual who ordered the shooting. We will continue to hold relentlessly violent offenders accountable.”
