Fox News Host Levin Attacks Bannon: “Pathological Liar” Exposed
UPDATE: Tensions escalate within the conservative media landscape as Fox News host Mark Levin unleashes a fierce critique of former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, labeling him a “pathological liar” and accusing him of betraying supporters. This explosive exchange unfolded during Levin’s radio show, The Mark Levin Show, on October 17, 2023, following Bannon’s recent remarks about Levin’s loyalty to the MAGA movement.
Levin’s remarks come in direct response to Bannon’s claims on his show War Room, where he suggested Levin was simply “hot air” and questioned his commitment to the Trump agenda. “We’ve been in the trenches with MAGA from the beginning—when you guys hated Trump initially,” Bannon asserted. Levin wasted no time firing back, saying, “You got that fat slob Bannon going on with his next cause: he’s going to denaturalize Mamdani. No, he’s not. He’s a pathological liar,” as reported by Media Matters.
The controversy centers around Zohran Mamdani, the mayor-elect of New York City, a U.S. citizen since 2018. Levin dismissed Bannon’s pledge to denaturalize Mamdani, questioning Bannon’s credibility given his own legal troubles. In February 2023, Bannon pleaded guilty to defrauding donors for a border wall initiative, receiving a three-year conditional discharge without jail time or restitution. However, he has been barred from running charities in New York.
Bannon has yet to respond to Levin’s accusations, but the fallout from their dispute has implications for the right-wing media ecosystem. Levin also criticized other prominent figures, including former Fox host Tucker Carlson and white nationalist Nick Fuentes, whose interactions have sparked further division among conservatives. Levin challenged Fuentes directly, stating, “Try it, you little punk. Try it. You and me, one on one.”
Levin’s pointed remarks about Carlson also drew attention, as he accused Carlson of aligning with questionable interests. “He’s making tens of millions of dollars in bed with the wrong people, pretending that he’s ‘America first,’” Levin stated. Carlson previously denied allegations of receiving funds from foreign entities, emphasizing his network’s independence in a post shared on social media.
As this story continues to develop, the internal conflicts among influential conservative voices raise questions about the future of the MAGA movement and its leaders. The implications of these disputes are likely to reverberate through the political landscape, impacting voter sentiment and media narratives in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
