Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence Share Laughs Over ‘Spooning’ Moment
In a recent promotional interview for their upcoming film, Die My Love, actors Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence entertained fans with a light-hearted exchange about a supposed “spooning” incident during filming. Lawrence humorously recalled the moment, while Pattinson, taken by surprise, claimed he had no recollection of it.
The conversation unfolded during a segment for Fandango, where the pair discussed their experiences on set. Lawrence mentioned a scene where they were “spooning” and humorously described a moment when her phone got trapped between them. “Do you remember when we were spooning and then my phone was stuck between us and I was like, ‘What’s that?’” she asked.
Pattinson, clearly baffled, responded, “Those things didn’t happen.” To which Lawrence playfully insisted, “Yes, they did.” Following a brief pause, she expressed mock disappointment, stating, “Whatever. No point in bringing things up if you don’t remember anything.” This exchange highlights their rapport and the playful nature of their promotional tour for the film.
Behind the Scenes of ‘Die My Love’
“We did not have an intimacy coordinator, or maybe we did, but we didn’t really. I felt really safe with Rob,”
Lawrence shared in a previous appearance on Las Culturistas. She emphasized her comfort working alongside Pattinson, noting that he was respectful and focused on his partner, Suki Waterhouse. The two actors often found themselves discussing personal topics, such as family and relationships, rather than the technicalities of their performances.
Die My Love, directed by Lynne Ramsay, is a black comedy-drama adapted from the 2012 novel by Ariana Harwicz. The film follows the story of Grace and Jackson, a couple who relocate to Montana in search of peace. However, their journey takes a dark turn as Grace experiences postpartum depression, leading her into psychosis. This emotional struggle places immense strain on Jackson, who becomes increasingly worried about their relationship.
The film is set to be released in theaters on November 7, 2023, and promises to blend dark humor with poignant themes. As Pattinson and Lawrence continue to engage audiences with their chemistry and playful interactions, anticipation builds for this unique cinematic offering.
