UPDATE: In a thrilling comeback, Jalen Duren scored 31 points as the Detroit Pistons clinched their 10th consecutive victory by defeating the struggling Indiana Pacers 127-112 on November 17, 2025. This marks the Pistons’ longest winning streak since the 2007-08 season.

Duren’s impressive performance comes after a recent ankle injury that sidelined him for several games. Alongside him, Daniss Jenkins contributed 26 points, helping Detroit overcome the absence of key players such as Cade Cunningham, Tobias Harris, and Ausar Thompson.

The Pacers, now 1-13 this season, have spiraled into an eight-game losing streak, the longest for the team since the 2014-15 season. This latest setback has left the Pacers struggling to find their footing as they remain winless on the road at 0-8.

The game heated up quickly as Detroit took control late in the first quarter with a pivotal three-pointer from Duncan Robinson, giving them a lead they would not relinquish. Despite Indiana’s attempt to close the gap with a 12-point run, the Pistons responded with a dominating 20-4 run to establish a commanding 46-27 lead.

Detroit’s defense and teamwork were on full display, with ten players contributing to the scoreboard and five reaching double digits. Javonte Green shone off the bench with 20 points, while Robinson finished the night with 13 points and Isaiah Stewart added 10 points.

In contrast, the Pacers found some spark with Pascal Siakam, who led his team with 29 points, and Benedict Mathurin, who added 25 points. However, it wasn’t enough to turn the tide against a resilient Pistons squad.

As the game unfolded, the Pistons closed the first half strong, heading into halftime with a 62-46 lead. Indiana made a notable effort in the second half, outscoring Detroit 56-55, yet fell short of overcoming the deficit.

Looking ahead, the Pacers are set to visit the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, while the Pistons will host the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. With their momentum building, Detroit aims to continue this remarkable winning streak. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
