Retirement Systems of Alabama has significantly increased its investment in the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA: VOO), boosting its stake by an impressive 1,313.9% during the second quarter of 2023. According to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the fund now holds 369,474 shares of the ETF after acquiring an additional 343,342 shares over the quarter.

As of the latest filing, the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF represents 0.8% of Retirement Systems of Alabama’s overall portfolio, making it the fund’s 17th largest position. The total value of its holdings in the ETF stands at approximately $209,872,000.
