Community Mourns the Passing of Larry M. Hadden at 74
Larry M. Hadden, a cherished member of the Metter community, passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 74. He died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
Born on May 3, 1951, Larry was the son of the late Talmadge Eugene Hadden and Erma Miles Hadden. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Hadden Flynt, who also resided in Metter. Larry’s life was characterized by his deep commitment to family and community.
Throughout his life, Larry was known for his warm spirit and generosity. His wife, Dianne Hadden, recalls how he always prioritized family gatherings and fostered close relationships with friends and neighbors. Larry’s kindness and humor were evident in every interaction, making him a beloved figure to many.
Larry’s contributions extended beyond his family life. He was actively involved in various community initiatives, reflecting his dedication to making Metter a better place. As a local business owner, he provided jobs and supported many initiatives aimed at improving the community’s welfare. His efforts did not go unnoticed, and he earned the respect and admiration of his peers.
In honor of his memory, a memorial service is scheduled for November 20, 2025, at the Metter Community Center. Friends, family, and community members are invited to celebrate Larry’s life and share their memories. The service will provide an opportunity for those who knew him to come together and reflect on the impact he had on their lives.
Larry M. Hadden’s passing leaves a significant void in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the memories that will be cherished forever.
