Longtime Members Honored at Jamestown Kiwanis Ceremony
The Jamestown Kiwanis Club recently celebrated the remarkable dedication of its members during a recognition ceremony. Si Liechty was honored for an impressive 65 years of membership, marking a significant milestone in his commitment to community service. Alongside him, Marty Toepke-Floyd received recognition for a decade of service, reflecting the club’s spirit of volunteerism.
In addition to Liechty and Toepke-Floyd, several other members were acknowledged for their contributions. Jason Gruebele, Rob Keller, and Angela Martini each celebrated 10 years of membership, while Jackie DeCoteau was honored for her five years of service. These recognitions highlight the club’s ongoing mission to foster community support and engagement.
The ceremony exemplified the values of the Jamestown Kiwanis, which has a long-standing tradition of serving the local community. Members gathered to honor their peers and reflect on the positive impact their collective efforts have made over the years. The recognition not only serves to appreciate individual contributions but also to inspire ongoing dedication among current and future members.
Liechty’s extensive involvement in Kiwanis has made him a respected figure within the organization. His commitment over the decades has set a standard for service that resonates with both new and existing members. The recognition of his service underscores the importance of longevity in community-focused organizations.
As the club continues to grow, the contributions of these members serve as a reminder of the vital role that volunteer work plays in enhancing the quality of life in Jamestown. Such ceremonies not only celebrate individual achievements but also reinforce the collective mission of Kiwanis: to improve communities through fellowship and dedicated service.
The Jamestown Kiwanis Club looks forward to building on this tradition of service, encouraging more individuals to join and contribute to the community. The recognition of longstanding members like Liechty, Toepke-Floyd, and others ensures that the spirit of volunteerism remains a cornerstone of the club’s identity moving forward.
