Ballerina Farm’s Hannah Neeleman Reveals Daily Life Secrets

UPDATE: Hannah Neeleman, co-founder of Ballerina Farm, shares her fascinating daily routine as she juggles life on a 328-acre farm in Utah while raising her eight children. With a staggering 21 million followers across social media, her insights into family life and farming are captivating audiences everywhere.
Just announced, Neeleman’s life includes a mix of family prayers at breakfast and a focus on creating a meaningful legacy through Ballerina Farm. She and her husband, Daniel Neeleman, started their journey back in 2017 with just four free-range pigs. Now, the farm employs around 100 people and has become a lifestyle brand known for its commitment to quality and community.
Neeleman wakes up around 7 a.m. to her younger children, aged 21 months to 13 years, climbing into bed. “That’s my alarm clock,” she says. Her mornings are filled with getting the kids ready for school and enjoying breakfast together, which often features yogurt from their creamery.
At 9 a.m., the older kids head to the farm’s schoolhouse, allowing Hannah some personal time to tackle emails or squeeze in a workout at the barn gym. “If I can get a good workout in, then my whole day is better,” she explains.
Tuesdays are particularly busy, dedicated to filming cooking videos that showcase her creative culinary skills. She emphasizes the importance of using fresh, seasonal ingredients harvested from the farm. “When I see a beautiful tomato that’s just off the vine, that’s when I want to cook with it,” she says passionately.
Lunch is a family affair, where meals are simple yet wholesome, often consisting of a starch, protein, and vegetables. “Lunch is the meal that we try to have together as a family,” she notes, reflecting on her experiences growing up.
In the evening, the family often has quick dinners due to busy schedules filled with lessons and sports. The Neelemans have also launched an online store and two brick-and-mortar locations where they sell farm products, including baked goods and meats.
Hannah shares that Ballerina Farm is not just a business but a legacy. “We’re trying to build something that has meaning and depth,” she states. The couple is dedicated to creating an agritourism experience where visitors can learn about sustainable farming practices.
As the day winds down, the family gathers for scripture study and prayer at 9 p.m.. Following this, Hannah finds time to edit her content, which she describes as “me time.” Her nighttime skincare routine includes tallow-based products, which she has found essential as she ages.
The Neelemans strive to keep Sundays sacred, dedicating the day to church and family, minimizing business discussions. “It’s a constant journey thinking about how we can provide the cleanest, best products for our customers,” she reflects.
This glimpse into Hannah Neeleman’s life not only highlights her dedication to family and farming but also serves as an inspiration for those navigating the complexities of modern life. Her story resonates with many, emphasizing the importance of community and intentional living.
Stay tuned for more updates as Ballerina Farm continues to grow and inspire families around the world.
