Tasha Huo Takes Charge as Showrunner for Critical Role’s ‘The Mighty Nein’

Her passion for Dungeons & Dragons ignited a remarkable career shift, as she now leads the narrative for the beloved characters from the Twitch-streamed campaign.

The showrunner’s deep connection to Critical Role began years ago when a friend introduced her to the Twitch stream. Huo binge-watched the 141-episode campaign, immersing herself in the world of Critical Role. Fast forward to 2021, when industry connections recommended her for the showrunner position, ultimately leading to her creative role within the Critical Role team.
