For instance, if driving at a speed of 50 km/h, a minimum following distance of 50 metres is advisable. Furthermore, in Germany, when visibility falls below 50 metres, the legal speed limit is capped at 50 km/h. It is important for drivers to familiarize themselves with local regulations regarding visibility and speed limits, as these can vary by region.

Proper Use of Vehicle Lights

In conditions of reduced visibility caused by fog, rain, or snowfall, activating vehicle lights is essential. Not only is this often a legal requirement, but it also enhances safety on the road.
