Arc Beverly Opens Luxurious Coworking Space in Beverly Hills
Arc Beverly has officially opened its doors at 9800 Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills, presenting a luxurious coworking and social club experience. This new establishment offers a variety of private suites, collaborative work areas, rooftop terraces, and chef-driven dining options, making it an attractive alternative for those moving away from traditional home offices or cubicles.
The space is operated by Good City Studio, a design and development firm based in Philadelphia, led by husband-and-wife team David Gutstadt and Amanda Potter. Gutstadt, the principal at Good City Studio, emphasized the unique focus of Arc Beverly. He stated, “We look at Arc Beverly as a workspace-focused club because the driving force for membership is the workspace and private suites.” This approach distinguishes Arc from many other serviced workspaces, thanks to its full-service hospitality model.
Premium Facilities and Culinary Offerings
Arc Beverly spans 65,000 square feet of both indoor and outdoor environments. Members can access collaborative workspaces, private offices, conference rooms, and even a theater, alongside two rooftop terraces. The facility has seen a transition in ownership from the previous operator, Spring Place, and underwent significant renovations to meet the needs of its new clientele, which includes a tech company requiring a podcast studio.
A key aspect of Arc Beverly’s appeal is its enhanced food and beverage program, led by culinary director Victor Totoris. Totoris, who has a rich background in local restaurants, has designed a menu that reflects his Argentine heritage while focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. He has already implemented changes such as removing seed oils from the kitchen and preparing all aiolis in-house. Menu highlights include a chicken milanesa sandwich and skirt steak served with chimichurri, crispy fingerling potatoes, and piquillo pepper aioli.
The club is accessible to both members and non-members, quickly establishing itself as a popular venue for significant Los Angeles events, including NBA All-Star Weekend and the Oscars. With its versatile space, Arc Beverly can host events ranging from intimate dinners to yoga classes for up to 150 people.
Strategic Positioning and Future Prospects
As Arc Beverly prepares for a series of major upcoming events, including the 2026 World Cup, 2027 Super Bowl, and the 2028 Olympic Games, the venue is strategically located near the One Beverly Hills development, which is currently under construction. The presence of this high-profile development opens further opportunities for hosting significant events in the near future.
To enhance its operational efficiency, Arc Beverly has appointed Florence Granteral as vice president of club experience and operations. Granteral brings extensive experience from the Los Angeles membership club scene, including a role at NeueHouse Club Venice. She describes Arc Beverly as a business incubator and brand accelerator, highlighting its appeal to a diverse range of industries, including beauty, fashion, entertainment, finance, and technology.
The building is owned by private equity firm Gores Group, which occupies the third floor while allowing coworking tenants to utilize some offices as interest grows. In contrast to other premium coworking spaces in Los Angeles that have recently closed, Arc Beverly is experiencing a surge in membership inquiries, reportedly up by 50% following the closures of competitors like NeueHouse.
In terms of membership options, Arc Beverly offers four tiers, with rates starting at $300 per month. Members benefit from access to various amenities, including the club’s restaurant and bar, lounges, coworking spaces, and cultural programming. The highest membership tier includes 24/7 access to the premises, along with reciprocal privileges at partner clubs worldwide, such as Sonato and Spring Place New York.
Amanda Potter, founder and creative director of Good City Studio, expressed her vision for the club, stating, “Over the next 12 months, our mission is to build a place where people can work, network, and recharge.” With ongoing enhancements and a commitment to creating a dynamic environment, Arc Beverly aims to redefine the coworking experience in Beverly Hills.
