Austin Reggae Festival Welcomes New Co-Owners and 2026 Lineup

The Austin Reggae Festival is set to enter a new chapter in 2026 with the announcement of new co-owners and an exciting lineup of artists. Now partially owned by festival producer Reggae Rise Up, the festival will take place from April 17-19, 2026, at Auditorium Shores in Austin, Texas. This marks a significant shift for the festival, which has been a staple of the local music scene for over 30 years.

Reggae Rise Up, known for its events across several states including Florida and Utah, is making its debut in Texas with this festival. According to a press release, this collaboration aims to enhance the event’s production quality and expand its artist network. The company has stated its commitment to maintaining a connection to local culture, with proceeds continuing to benefit the Central Texas Food Bank.

The lineup for the festival is particularly noteworthy, featuring Stephen Marley, the son of reggae legend Bob Marley, as a headliner. Other performers include Original Koffee, Iration, and a total of 18 acts, including Zion Marley, Bob Marley’s grandson, and Lauryn Hill‘s son. The complete lineup is as follows:

Tickets for the Austin Reggae Festival will begin at $40 for a single day or $115 for a three-day pass. They can be purchased through the festival’s official website, reggaeriseup.com.

Pat Costigan, founder of Leprechaun Productions, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to present the festival and collaborate with the Central Texas Food Bank. “It’s been an honour for us here at Leprechaun Productions to be able to present this great event and work with everyone involved over the years,” he stated in the release.
