Proceeds from the sale will directly support the library’s ongoing programs and initiatives.

On **January 7, 2026**, country music fans can enjoy a concert by **Bradley Banning** at the **Father Nash Parish Center**, located next to **St. Faustina Kowalska Parish** at **520 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke**. The concert begins at **7 p.m.**, following a **6 p.m. Mass** in the church. Banning, a Texas-based artist, is known for his focus on God-centered and family-friendly themes in his music. Admission is free, though a free will offering will be accepted. Doors open at **5 p.m.**, with games starting at **6 p.m.** at the association’s hall located at **389 W. Grand St., Nanticoke**. The event features two magic numbers, along with food, refreshments, and door prizes. The venue is a non-smoking environment. For inquiries, call **570-905-0524**.

Additionally, the **American Legion Post 350** invites the public to its monthly bingo night on the second Wednesday of each month. Food assistance is also available for those in need. The **Newport Township Community Organization**, in partnership with the **Weinberg Regional Food Bank**, conducts a monthly food distribution. This outdoor, drive-through event takes place from **11 a.m. to noon** on the second Saturday of each month at the municipal garage adjacent to the municipal building on **Kirmar Parkway**.
