Forum Financial Management Boosts Stake in Dimensional ETF by 188.9%

Forum Financial Management LP has significantly increased its investment in the Dimensional Inflation-Protected Securities ETF (NYSEARCA: DFIP), boosting its holdings by 188.9% during the third quarter of 2023. According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the institutional investor now owns 240,233 shares after acquiring an additional 157,075 shares in the period. The total value of Forum Financial Management’s stake in the ETF is approximately $10,145,000.

Other hedge funds have also adjusted their positions in the Dimensional ETF. Insight Wealth Strategies LLC entered the market with a new stake worth around $18,965,000, while Hemington Wealth Management increased its holdings by 19.2%, amassing 912,827 shares valued at $38,548,000 after purchasing an additional 146,941 shares.

In addition, Fortitude Family Office LLC raised its position in the ETF by 67.1% during the second quarter, resulting in ownership of 243,967 shares now valued at $10,200,000. Level Financial Advisors also reported a 42.7% increase in its holdings, now possessing 284,722 shares worth approximately $12,024,000 after acquiring an additional 85,143 shares.

The Dimensional Inflation-Protected Securities ETF focuses on U.S. government bonds that are designed to protect against inflation, tracking the Bloomberg U.S. TIPS index. Launched on December 15, 2021, the ETF holds inflation-protected securities with maturities of five to twenty years.

As of Friday, shares of DFIP opened at $41.65. The ETF’s fifty-day moving average price stands at $41.88, while its 200-day moving average is at $42.05. Over the past year, the ETF has experienced a low of $40.24 and a high of $42.77.
