Kimmel compiled various moments from Trump’s speech, including a bizarre reference to “Indians” who purportedly objected to the title “Chief of Staff.” Trump mistakenly referred to his Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, as “Susie Trump.” He claimed, “We don’t use the word Chief of Staff anymore because of the Indians that are extremely upset,” adding that these groups now wish for their name to be used. “I think by Indians he meant Native Americans,” Kimmel remarked, dismissing Trump’s claims as “made up.”

The former president questioned why immigrants from “s**thole countries” were prioritized over those from nations like Denmark and Norway, which he referred to as the “three whitest countries in the world.” Kimmel condemned this statement, stating, “That was extra Trump. That might be the worst thing he’s ever said.”

The talk show host expressed concern for Trump’s mental state, describing him as “deeply unwell.” Kimmel referenced a lengthy post Trump made on Truth Social on December 9, in which he asserted that no former president has “worked as hard” as he has and claimed to be in fantastic physical health. Kimmel humorously critiqued the post, noting, “This post about his health is twice as long as the Gettysburg Address. And it starts with a bang.”

In a further jab, Kimmel discussed Trump’s assertions regarding his cognitive abilities. He quipped, “Trump once again claimed he aced all three of those cognitive tests, something few people can do.” He summarized the nature of these tests, saying, “It’s basically the test paramedics give you when you hit your head in a jet ski accident.”
