In a notable promotional effort, the Aquarius and Edgewater casinos in Laughlin, Nevada, are offering their loyalty club members an opportunity to win a brand-new home and substantial cash prizes. The “$300,000 House & $60,000 Cash Giveaway” starts on March 14 and runs until April 18, 2024. This initiative aims to reward players with a chance to win a single-family home valued at approximately $300,000 along with up to $60,000 in cash.

Jeremy Jenson, the senior vice president and general manager of both casinos, emphasized the significance of this promotion. “This is the biggest grand prize I can recall in my more than two decades with Golden Entertainment Inc.,” he stated. Jenson added that the promotion serves as a way to express gratitude to loyal players, who trust the casinos with their time and loyalty.

To enter the giveaway, members of the True Rewards loyalty program earn one virtual drawing ticket for every $50 in same-day base slot points. Weekly drawings will take place on Saturdays through April 11, with 10 winners at each property receiving $500 in cash and a house-shaped certificate that guarantees entry into the grand prize drawing.

On April 18, additional winners will be selected in a final drawing at the Aquarius Casino, where the grand prize will be awarded at 18:00. The lucky winner will have the choice between the newly constructed home, which spans 1,619 square feet in Montano Ridge, Bullhead City, Arizona, or a cash alternative of $210,000.

This promotional event follows a year of growth for Laughlin, which reported a 7.3 percent increase in annual visitation, totaling 1.4 million visitors, and a 2.4 percent rise in gaming revenue, reaching $493.5 million. Jenson highlighted that this initiative is designed not only to attract new visitors but also to reward the existing player base. “Aquarius and Edgewater are the leading resorts in Laughlin,” he remarked, noting the importance of maintaining a strong commitment to their players.

Golden Entertainment is currently undergoing a transition from a publicly traded company to private ownership. This shift is part of a plan to sell its operating assets to Blake Sartini, the chairman and CEO. Additionally, several casino real estate holdings, including the two Laughlin resorts, are being sold to VICI Properties Inc..

As the giveaway unfolds, the excitement surrounding the opportunity to win a home and cash continues to engage both local residents and visitors, reinforcing the casinos’ dedication to enhancing the gaming experience in Laughlin.
