TT Capital Management Expands Holdings in Invesco QQQ ETF

TT Capital Management LLC has strengthened its investment portfolio by acquiring 7,205 shares of the Invesco QQQ ETF during the second quarter of 2023. The acquisition, valued at approximately $3,975,000, now positions Invesco QQQ as the firm’s 17th largest holding, constituting 1.3% of its total investments. This information was detailed in the recent 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Several other institutional investors also increased their stakes in Invesco QQQ during the same period. Notably, Kingstone Capital Partners Texas LLC significantly raised its position by an astonishing 704,593.7%, resulting in ownership of 67,615,365 shares valued at around $37,299,340,000. This remarkable increase followed the purchase of an additional 67,605,770 shares in the last quarter.

Other Major Stakeholders Expand Their Investments

In addition to Kingstone, 1832 Asset Management L.P. doubled its investment in Invesco QQQ, enhancing its stake by 100%. The firm now holds 2,115 shares valued at $1,167,000 after acquiring an additional 40,999,982 shares. Symphony Financial Ltd. Co. entered the fray with a new position worth approximately $1,236,482,000.

HRT Financial LP also increased its holdings by 118.3%, now owning 3,145,578 shares valued at $1,735,226,000 following the acquisition of an additional 1,704,600 shares. Moreover, JPMorgan Chase & Co. boosted its investment by 42.4%, bringing its total to 4,895,265 shares worth $2,700,424,000 after purchasing an additional 1,457,109 shares.

Collectively, institutional investors and hedge funds own approximately 44.58% of Invesco QQQ, reflecting a strong interest in this exchange-traded fund.

Invesco QQQ Performance and Overview

As of the latest trading session, Invesco QQQ opened at $613.62, with a 50-day moving average of $613.64 and a 200-day moving average of $580.58. The ETF has experienced significant price fluctuations over the past year, with a low of $402.39 and a high of $637.01.

Invesco QQQ, also known as PowerShares QQQ Trust, Series 1, aims to replicate the performance of the Nasdaq-100 Index. This investment vehicle allows investors to purchase units representing undivided interests in a portfolio of securities that closely mirrors the Nasdaq-100 Index.
