iShares MSCI BIC ETF Shares Rise 0.6% Amid Increased Trading Activity

Shares of the iShares MSCI BIC ETF (NYSEARCA:BKF) increased by 0.6% on Monday, reaching a high of $45.22 before closing at $45.14. The trading day saw approximately 11,717 shares exchanged, marking an 18% rise from the average daily volume of 9,953 shares. This uptick follows a previous closing figure of $44.88.

The iShares MSCI BIC ETF, which focuses on the performance of the MSCI BRIC Index, boasts a market capitalization of $94.79 million. The fund has a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 14.95 and a beta of 0.38, indicating lower volatility compared to the broader market. Additionally, its fifty-day moving average stands at $44.51, while the 200-day moving average is $44.17.

Institutional Investors Adjust Holdings

Recent trading activity reflects adjustments by several large institutional investors. Allianz SE increased its holdings in the iShares MSCI BIC ETF by 1.9% during the third quarter. The firm now controls 297,584 shares valued at approximately $13,460,000 following the acquisition of an additional 5,532 shares.

Similarly, Susquehanna International Group LLP raised its position by 14.6% during the same period, now owning 80,220 shares worth around $3,628,000 after purchasing 10,221 shares in the last quarter. Another notable investor, Benjamin Edwards Inc., expanded its stake by 29.0% in the fourth quarter, bringing its total to 40,480 shares, valued at $1,773,000 after acquiring an additional 9,089 shares.

Other significant adjustments include Envestnet Asset Management Inc., which lifted its stake by a substantial 231.4% in the second quarter, acquiring 23,285 shares and now holds 33,346 shares worth approximately $1,382,000. Additionally, Bank of America Corp DE boosted its holdings by 4.4%, now owning 24,342 shares valued at $1,101,000 after buying an extra 1,028 shares.
